Work packages

Cancon is divided into nine work packages. Three of them are cross-cutting packages, while six are core packages.

02 | Dissemination Good outreach and wide audience. Engages European citizens; people in general, and both stakeholders, networks and different partners.

04 | Guide coordination Focuses on chapter development and guide compilation.

06 | Integrated Cancer Control Provides recommendations for the organization of comprehensive cancer services and optimal care for the people of a particular area through the synergy of all relevant institutions.

08 | Survivorship and rehabilitation Developes a European framework including recommendations for high-quality survivorship care and rehabilitation.

01 | Coordination Manages and coordinates the project.

03 | Evaluation Verifies that the joint action is implemented as planned and is on “right track” to achieve its objectives.

05 | Member State Platform In depth discussions where the key elements in a particular area are identified and facilitated. In addition, shares knowledge and information.

07 | Community-level cancer care Improves community cancer care of populations through early cancer detection, more coherent continued cancer care and cancer survivor support.

09 | Screening Creates guidance and guiding principles for better governance, organization and evaluation of population-based cancer screening programmes.
