Find out how we aim to do this...
Cancon (officially European Guide on Quality Improvement in Comprehensive Cancer Control or CanCon; Cancon for short) is a joint action initiative, co-funded by participating organisations, institutes, universities and health care units, and the European Union.
The total budget is 6 million euros. Cancon started in 2014 and will continue until 2017.
Cancon produced a Guide for improving the quality of comprehensive cancer control. The Guide is a result of hundreds of cancer experts, in 25 countries and 126 partner organisations.
Cancon has nine work packages. Work packages 1, 2 and 3 deal with coordination, dissemination and evaluation. They help facilitate work packages 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9, which focus on developing the content of cancer control.
